Travel

From the tops of mountains, all the way to the sea, the world is full of details. These are a few traces of people and places scattered around the big blue planet.

  • France

My abiding image of France is from a train travelling from Paris to La Rochelle, my first big trip abroad. The distances and emptiness were arresting.  I've now visited Paris five or six times and have never tired of it. I look forward to spending many more long hours wandering it's enchanting streets, museums and galleries.

  • Spain

Spain is one of my favourite places, my ashes will be scattered there, thrown from the top of the Albaicin, high above the beautiful city of Granada.
  • UK

  • Latin America

I've been fortunate enough to spend about 16 months back packing around much of South and Central America. It's a fabulous place, the Andes are breathtaking, and the shear variety of both landscapes and people have to be experienced.
