I won't bore you with tons of details about me, but I like to think of myself as a sort of artist-photographer who uses a camera as a paintbrush and who's paint is light and pixels. For a long time now I've been focussing on abstracts and totally abstract fotos, randomness in photography - i.e., trying to remove my preconceptions and expectations from the pics I take. However, in 2007 I started my self-portrait project with the idea of producing one every day, no matter how little time, light etc there is. This was a test of my creativity in both taking the fotos and processing them, and lead me away from many fotografic conventions (in fact, virtually all fotografy) and production that are currently strangling the art. You can find the results, all 423 of them, in the Self Portraits galleries - I hope you find them stimulating.
My main project for 2008 is a series on performers, be they groups or individuals. I shall be applying many of the ideas (what I like to call Pixeldelia) learnt from my self-portrait project, so the experimentation continues.
I'm also into all sorts of writing. This ranges from fact to fiction, tall stories to travel writing, but most of it's creative writing, lyrics, prose and poetry. Feel free to wander around the site and to leave comments about my work.
